Who we are
This website, vertara.ai, is operated by Eksporto atradimai, MB — trading as Vertara — a company registered in Lithuania under company code 304526374, with its registered office at Rasos g. 17-1, Domeikavos k., LT-54359 Kauno r., Lithuania.
For the personal data described in this policy we are the data controller. If you have a question or want to exercise any of the rights below, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form. Your name, email address, company name if you give one, and the description of the workflow you want to discuss. The form is delivered straight to our own mailbox — the website keeps no separate database of enquiries.
- Correspondence. If you email us, or we email you, the messages and anything you attach to them.
- Technical data. Your IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you and the pages you view. Some of this appears in our hosting provider's server logs; the rest is collected by Google Analytics, and only if you accept statistics cookies.
- Cookies. Set out in full in our Cookie Policy.
- Business contact details of prospective clients. If we contacted you first, we may hold your name, business email address, company, role and publicly available information about your company, gathered from public business sources.
We do not ask for and do not want special categories of data (health, beliefs, and so on). Please don't send them through the form.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and preparing a proposal | Form submission, correspondence | Art. 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract |
| Running the website and keeping it secure | Technical data, server logs | Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in a working, protected site |
| Understanding which pages bring people here | Analytics data | Art. 6(1)(a) — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Contacting businesses that may need what we do | Business contact details | Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in direct business-to-business marketing; you may object at any time |
| Keeping accounting and tax records | Client and invoicing data | Art. 6(1)(c) — a legal obligation under Lithuanian law |
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and related correspondence — 24 months from our last contact with you, unless the enquiry turns into an engagement.
- Client records — for the duration of the engagement, and afterwards for as long as Lithuanian accounting and tax law requires us to keep them.
- Analytics data — 14 months in Google Analytics, then deleted automatically.
- Server logs — kept only briefly by our hosting provider, for security and troubleshooting.
- Prospect contact details — deleted as soon as you ask, and reviewed periodically in any case.
Who else is involved
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it so that somebody else can market to you. The following providers process data on our behalf, under contract:
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which run only after you accept statistics cookies; and Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver the typefaces this site uses.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — the network in front of vertara.ai that delivers pages and protects the site from attack.
- Our hosting provider in Lithuania — the server that runs the website and the mailbox your enquiry arrives in.
Beyond that we disclose personal data only where the law obliges us to.
Transfers outside the EEA
Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the additional safeguards those providers apply. You can ask us for more detail.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased, where there is no reason for us to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or to object to our use of it — including objecting to direct marketing, which we will always honour;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija) — vdai.lrv.lt. We would rather you told us first.
Cookies
What each cookie does, how long it lasts and how to change your mind is set out in the Cookie Policy. Nothing but strictly necessary cookies is set before you choose.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries arrive in a mailbox on our own server with restricted access, and only the people who need to read them do. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and would tell you promptly if something went wrong that affected you.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects you, we will say so on the site.
