What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device so it can remember something between page loads — your language, for instance, or the fact that you already answered a question. Similar technologies such as local storage do much the same job; we call all of it “cookies” here.
Every cookie this site uses
This is the complete list. There is nothing else.
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
vconsent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined statistics cookies, so we stop asking | 180 days | Vertara |
vlang | Remembers whether you chose English or Lithuanian, so the automatic language redirect doesn't override your choice | 12 months | Vertara |
_ga | Tells returning visits apart in Google Analytics | 2 years | |
_ga_F2ZF78D53K | Keeps Google Analytics session state for this site's property | 2 years |
The two categories
Strictly necessary
vconsent and vlang. They carry your own choices — a consent answer and a language — and the site cannot honour those choices without them. They are set regardless of consent, because without them we would have to ask you the same question on every page.
Statistics
_ga and _ga_F2ZF78D53K, used by Google Analytics to count visits and show us which pages bring people here. These are only ever set if you accept. We use them to understand the site, not to build a profile of you, and no advertising or remarketing tags run on vertara.ai at all.
Your choice, and how to change it
Before you choose anything, statistics cookies are switched off — that is the default, not something you have to opt out of. The banner asks once, we store the answer in vconsent, and we don't ask again until it expires.
If you decline, Google Analytics still receives an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed. It cannot recognise you, follow you between visits or identify your device.
You can change your mind whenever you like:
Choosing “decline” after having accepted also deletes the Google Analytics cookies already on your device.
Third parties
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited) — measurement, loaded only after you accept.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces this site is set in are served by Google, which means Google receives your IP address in order to deliver them. This happens regardless of cookie choice, and sets no cookies.
- Cloudflare — delivers and protects the site. On vertara.ai it sets no cookies.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, for every site at once. Doing so may break things on sites that rely on them more heavily than this one does.
Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, this page and its date change with it. It is meant to stay an accurate list, not a generic one.
